Application of Tapir Leather Care Cream

The leather care cream is best applied after cleaning the shoe with the Tapir Leather and Saddle Soap , as the natural shoe polish can be absorbed unhindered into the leather and develop its full effect. A soft cotton cloth such as the Tapir Shoe Cleaning Cloth or a Tapir Application Brush is recommended for use. The leather care cream should be applied sparingly to the leather in a thin layer. By gently massaging in, the nourishing ingredients penetrate deep into the leather structure, nourishing and impregnating the material at the same time.

After a short exposure time, it is advisable to polish the leather surface with a clean shoe cleaning cloth or a Tapir gloss brush . Polishing intensifies the shine and enhances the water-repellent layer created by the shoe polish. Depending on the desired shine, the polishing can be repeated until the shoes get the desired, well-groomed shine.
