Tapir – 35 years well-groomed on the road

On June 9, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tapir Wachswaren in Amelsen will celebrate its 35th anniversary. At the same time, the new project “The Tapir Barn” will be officially inaugurated. In 1983, the ethnology student Bodo Rengshausen-Fischbach founded the company Tapir Wachswaren in Dassel-Amelsen. In an old farm on the village square, the first leather care products were created according to traditional manufacturing methods in the laundry room of the outbuilding. Even then, the tapir was the likeable company logo of the small company.
