Today we take on an extensive cleaning and impregnation of synthetic football boots.
The shoes are heavily soiled and should be cared for.
As always, we first provide all the necessary utensils. This time we need
- a bucket of warm soapy water
- a stiff brush
- the outdoors on the road! Moisture protection including application brush
- and a shine brush
As usual, we start by removing the laces from the shoes to better reach all the hard-to-reach places.
Goodbye dirt!
Next, we first use our practical dirt brush with its pointed edges to remove the coarse dirt from the cleats of the shoes. This is followed by wet cleaning. To do this, we wet the brush with the soapy water and clean both the top and bottom of the shoes. Here you can brush properly so that the deep-seated dirt and dust are also removed. Don’t worry, the fibre bristles are particularly robust and resistant to wear and tear, making them ideal for removing dirt particles without damaging the shoe material.
Schutz vor Feuchtigkeit und Verschmutzung in der Tiefe
Wenn der Schuh einmal rundum gesäubert wurde, sollte er auf zukünftige Benutzung mitsamt Schmutz und Nässe vorbereitet werden. Hierfür eignet sich optimal Tapirs natürlicher Draußen unterwegs! Nässeschutz. Dieser wird direkt mit dem beiliegenden Auftragspinsel aus der Flasche aufgenommen und zunächst gut auf alle Nähte des Schuhs aufgetragen und einmassiert. Die Nähte sind besonders wichtig, da der Schuh hier am anfälligsten für Feuchtigkeit ist. Der Nässeschutz wird satt aufgetragen und gut mit dem Pinsel verteilt.
Protection down to the depths
When all surfaces have been treated with the impregnation, the shoe is brushed all around with a polishing brush . This means that any residues of the moisture protection are completely massaged into the shoe.
That’s it! The shoe should now be given some drying time and it is ready for the next football match.
