Blue shine rekindled – refresh a blue handbag made of smooth leather

What do you need for a new life of the blue leather handbag?
Today Hubert has planned something very special – a blue women’s handbag. The blue has partly faded and in some areas of damage is almost non-existent. Will Tapir still be able to give this bag a new lease of life? We’ll see!
We don’t need much for leather care this time:
- the leather care cream in blue
- an application brush
- if necessary. a polishing brush
- if necessary. a stiff brush
Preparations before leather care
First of all, as always, it should be ensured that the bag is always clean and free of dirt. This is easy to do with the practical dirt brush, which can be used to easily brush off stuck, coarse dirt and dust. It is best to work with a soft gloss brush .
Then you can start with the color refreshment and leather care. Due to the blue of the leather and the dark seams, our leather care cream in blue is ideal in this case. Its color appears darker on the packaging than it is in reality, but the contents adapt perfectly to the blue tone of the bag due to the natural earth color pigments it contains.
Leather Care Cream for Faded Leather
Now you can really get started! To do this, add a little of the shoe polish to the practical application brush. This can then be used to treat the particularly affected damaged areas of the handbag, i.e. wherever the color has already almost completely disappeared. To do this, simply massage the leather conditioner into the leather in circular motions.
It should be brushed until there is really no more care cream visible on the bag. You can also see directly that the leather gratefully accepts the care and its colour pigments and that the damaged areas have almost disappeared.
After all particularly affected areas of the bag have been treated in this way, the rest of the handbag can be cared for with the rest of the handbag. This ensures that the entire bag gets a leather treatment, but not too much gets on the not so necessary areas.
Would you like a little more glamour?
After the entire bag has been treated in this way, you are theoretically already finished.
But if you still want to get a slight shine, you can brush the bag with a shine brush and thus fire up the wax a bit. This means that the leather begins to shine wonderfully, as the wax content it contains is well polished by the heat generated.
